BMT Graduation

As you all know Matt graduated from BMT June 12Th! It was such a neat experience to go down and see him. I was so proud of him and had such a fun time seeing how life has been for him. He was in basic for 8 and a half weeks and it was the longest 8 and a half weeks of my life!!! It is really hard to be away from your husband and I truly do feel for those who have husbands who are deployed or are gone longer then a week at a time for work! On the way from Ontario to Denver my plane was delayed because Denver was having such sever weather storms. I finally made it to Denver and I missed my plain:( So needless to stay I had to stay the night in the Denver airport....not fun at all!!! Finally after several phone calls and talking to several delta customer service agents they wear able to get me on the 8 o'clock flight out of Denver. I finally made it San Antonio around 1 and missed a few things on Thursday. I got their for the end of the coin ceremony and was happy to see my husband!

Then we walked around base and ate lunch. On Friday it was the big day...Matt became an official airman!! I have to say that was like in my top 5 proudest moments in my life! I have never felt so proud in my life! Then later that evening we went to a baseball game! That was so much fun and we made it on the kissing screen!

The next day we went to sea world and it was so incredibly hot i thought i was going to DIE!! I have never ever been any wear hotter then San Antonio Texas!

The humidity was horrible and i felt like i was going to faint at any moment!! Matt and I left sea world early because i couldn't take the heat. It was nice to go back to the hotel and hang out together one on one. Later that evening we went to a basketball game...my favorite!! We had so much fun spending time together and when we had to part ways on Sunday it was even harder then the first time! Matt is now in tech school in Wichita Falls Texas at Shepard Air Force Base. I'm so excited to go and see him in 13 days!!! Matt and I report to his first duty station Dec 10Th to Albenie Texas at Dyess Air Force Base. (its about an hour and a half west of Dallas) We are very excited for what the future holds and cant wait to live together again!:)

DISNEYLAND!!!!

Before I went to go see matt in texas I made a quick stop at Disneyland with the family! It was so much fun! We met up with Michael, Emily, and little Madie for her first time in Disneyland! We had such a great time eating such gooooooooodddd food and riding all the rides! We spent 5 days in disneyland wich was still not enough time! We go every summer and always have a blast. My mom always asks if we would like to go somewear else and we always say disneyland, disneyworld, or a disney cruise. So since she does not like to fly its always disneyland...no complaints hear! These are just a few fun pics i took. It would take forever to post the 500 I actually have!

Easter fun and Matts last day:(

Mark, Matt and I with our eggs We love this show!!
Every year we have family easter eggs. We put our name on one side and a drawing on theother.
Goofing off with our eggs!

Looking at all that candy!!We all played cards, basketball, baseball, Frisbee, and laughed. Matt and I had a wonderful Day together and hated how fast it went by.

The next day we got up early to get Matt out the door. We got out the door and waited for Sgt carpenter to show up. We waited patiently and i was so sick to my stomach! We talked with Sgt carpenter Matt finished sighing some paper work and then to our surprise Sgt carpenter said we weren't leaving until 2:30 because he had some people to meet with! Matt and I went back to our house to hang out for the next few hrs. It was so nice to have some more time together. Then a few hours later it was off to butte. We got Matt all ready to leave for Tuesday morning and it was so hard to say goodbye. He was so excited to go and i was very excited for him! We are so excited to see one another in June at his graduation! Only 57 more days left!!

Christmas-April!

We had a wonderful Christmas and are thankful for are friends and missionaries!!!
Matt's 27th Birthday
So Matt turned the big 27 this past year! I always tease him and say he is getting so old and he is almost 30! He hates getting older but was a good sport and let us have a party!
So I know this cake looks like its for a girl but this is the story....I asked Matt what kind of cake he wanted and he said he wanted an angel food cake and strawberry frosting. Well strawberry frosting is pink and thear is just no way around it...hehe
Temple Trip
Matt and I were so excited to spend a long day in the temple with one another, it was one of the last times we would be able to go together for a while...... Lets just say it didn't go our way at all!! So we went to the distribution center behind the temple to pick up a few thing that Matt would need before he left, well the lady asked for Matt's temple recommend and he couldn't find it. No problem we thought, so i just handed her mine and we purchased the items. We walked out to the car thinking it would probably be in his temple bag...nope not in there either. Well what could we do that point but go in and hopefully they could call are bishop! So we went inside the temple and while we waited in the waiting room they made there calls! Well the kind temple worker came out and apologized over and over....he had spoken with president Heap and we found out that Matt's recommend had expired. Well there was nothing we could do at that point, so Matt gave me a hug and a kiss I enjoyed a few hours in the temple and Matt helped out on the temple grounds!!!
Now my computer is acting up so i will have to publish the rest of or fun temple pictures later on!
