8 Months.....ALREADY??!!!!

Noah is 8 months old!!! I cant believe he is still alive...Joke! Honestly though I cant believe 8 months ago I had a sweet, handsome, loving, fun, baby boy. Its crazy to think that I'm a mom and that my sweet 7lb boy is not so little anymore! Noah can do so much now and its so fun to watch him explore and realize all the things he can do. He is now talking all the time, has learned that there is more then just the small green carpet I put him on, loves to eat food, loves to do things himself, gets grouchy when hes tired, loves to see and play with dad when he gets home, cuddles with mommy before and after he has woken up for naps or the day, still loves to be nursed, thinks that everything I can do he can do to, thinks cups with straws are so much fun, types on the computer, plays with my phone, screams of excitement when bindy plays with him, and much much more! He is such a joy to have around and I honestly love being his mom!! I'm so lucky and blessed to have such a fun little boy. I took some pictures of him last night and did some editing I hope you enjoy them.

Editing fun!

Okay the more I find out about our mac the more and more I fall in LOVE with it! I hate trying to figure things out but I LOVE how amazing it is. Recently I found out that I can edit photos without having to buy or use a fancy editing program. This is a few pictures I have played around with so far. These were photos taken while we were in Montana on a walk. The background is beautiful....On the other hand us as models didn't look that great we had just eaten dinner and were being lazy and decided that spur of moment we should go on a walk...so don't judge our looks!!

Clydesdales

On wed our friend called and asked if we were going to go look at the Clydesdale horses that were going to come and make a stop on base! We had no idea about it but thought it would be so much fun so we hoped in the car and went and looked at the beautiful horses. It was fun to watch them set up the horses and walk them around! They were Budweiser horses and of course they were giving out free samples. Well since we don't drink Matt decided to tell the younger kids it was horse pee. Let me tell you it was funny to see how many kids believed him!

Mothers day weekend

Its true I got a whole weekend dedicated to me!! It was absolutly wonderful to finally celebrate mothers day with my wonderful bug! On friday we started with some fun dress shoping for me! I really really needed some new church clothes and not only did I find 1 dress but I found 3!! This is a completly rare for me. Then after that Matt and Noah took me to Red Robin! I love that place and it was so much fun. After Red robin we went and watched Thor and Rango at the drive in! We had so much fun. Noah even stayed up to watch Thor and fell asleep before Rango. I dont blame the little guy it was 11pm by the time Thor ended. We finally made it home by 1 and were all in bed by 2! On saturday Matt and Noah made me yummy bisquits and gravey! After that we hung out as a family and it was great. Matt told me that our neighbor boy mikey had bought his mom some flowers and a ballon and I should check it out. So we went over and to my surprise the flowers and ballons were for me and matt had asked them to hold them for me!! We all stayed up late hanging out and watching movies. Since we had stayed up sooo late on saturday we missed church:( I was so sad. When we finally got up we ate breakfest and played some games inside. After Noah woke up from his nap we went outside and played in Noahs little pool! It was a blast! Matt made me a yummy dinner and we just enjoyed the evening as a family! Im so lucky to have Noah and Matt in my life! I have the worlds best husband and son! Noah is our little miracle baby and im so greatful to Heavenly Father every day for letting me have him! Being a mom is not about gifts and surprises! Growing up I would always ask my mom what she wanted for mothers day and she would always reply "for you to be happy, healthy, succesful, and that your dreams will come true." I would always laugh and giggle and say okay seriously mom what do you want. I never understood that all she wanted for us is the best. Not gifts, or surprises, or fancy things. She just wanted us to be happy. Now that im a mother I completly understand what she ment! My wish is the same for Noah that I do my best to make sure he is a strong priesthood holder and grows up to be happy and succesful in whatever he choses to be. Im greatful to have such a wonderful mother and im so greatful for her and all the sacrafices she has made for me! Happy mothers day to all you wonderful mothers! I hope your day was wonderful!!

Cinco De Mayo!!

We don't wear green, pinch one another, eat corn beef and cabbage but we do celebrate Cinco de mayo! This year I made yummy carna asada, homemade salsa, guac, and homemade tortillas! It was sooo yummy!! Matt and I ate our body weight in food I swear! Every year we have always celebrated Cinco de mayo since we have been married and when we lived in bozeman we would have a huge party with friends! My friend Chelsea, Jayne, and I would spend hours cooking all day and enjoy our labor of love that evening with our husbands and friends! Its always been a tradition and I'm sad we don't live closer to celebrate the fun day all together anymore but I'm happy to continue the tradition with my little family! I hope everyone had a fun cinco de mayo!!!

P.S. Sorry for no pics I think I might have deleted all my pics off my computer...ggrrrr!! Im still learning how to use the mac and let me tell you its a LOT different then a pc. Although I dont know how to use the mac the best I LOVE it way more the pc!!

Big changes....

First off I would like to apologize for all the blogs at once. I have had them ready to go but since we have gotten our new computer I couldn't figure out how to upload pictures onto the blog. Well I sat down one day and figured it out!! So I finally added pictures to all my posts and posted them!! I promise now that I know how to blog you will probably get sick of me blogging all the time!

I know I have said this many times before but we have the worlds best little boy! He is so much fun in every way! I couldn't imagine life without this little guy. He has changed my world forever and for the better! I still remember the day I told Matt I was pregnant. Its a day I will never forget. I will never forget hearing Noah cry for the first time or seeing his sweet little face. Its crazy to think that was 7 almost 8 months ago. I feel as if someone has hit the fast forward button and I cant slow things down. Noah has changed so much and I try and take daily pictures of him because before I know it hes already an inch taller or doing something new. Noah can now sit up without any help, go from sitting up into the crawling position, and is on his way to crawling any day now. He has the army crawl down to a T. Hes starting to crawl backward and does okay with that, now here's to hoping he gets going forward. I have to say when people ask me is it exciting that he almost crawling my answer is "no." You see that's just one step closer to my little man getting bigger and for now I'm just enjoying him being "a little man." Its hard to watch your child grow up but its wonderful and exciting to see all there accomplishments at the same time!

I know this post is about Noah but I had to post these because I love this man so much and I'm so grateful for everything he has done for Noah and I!
