Cinco De Mayo!!

We don't wear green, pinch one another, eat corn beef and cabbage but we do celebrate Cinco de mayo! This year I made yummy carna asada, homemade salsa, guac, and homemade tortillas! It was sooo yummy!! Matt and I ate our body weight in food I swear! Every year we have always celebrated Cinco de mayo since we have been married and when we lived in bozeman we would have a huge party with friends! My friend Chelsea, Jayne, and I would spend hours cooking all day and enjoy our labor of love that evening with our husbands and friends! Its always been a tradition and I'm sad we don't live closer to celebrate the fun day all together anymore but I'm happy to continue the tradition with my little family! I hope everyone had a fun cinco de mayo!!!

P.S. Sorry for no pics I think I might have deleted all my pics off my computer...ggrrrr!! Im still learning how to use the mac and let me tell you its a LOT different then a pc. Although I dont know how to use the mac the best I LOVE it way more the pc!!

Big changes....

First off I would like to apologize for all the blogs at once. I have had them ready to go but since we have gotten our new computer I couldn't figure out how to upload pictures onto the blog. Well I sat down one day and figured it out!! So I finally added pictures to all my posts and posted them!! I promise now that I know how to blog you will probably get sick of me blogging all the time!

I know I have said this many times before but we have the worlds best little boy! He is so much fun in every way! I couldn't imagine life without this little guy. He has changed my world forever and for the better! I still remember the day I told Matt I was pregnant. Its a day I will never forget. I will never forget hearing Noah cry for the first time or seeing his sweet little face. Its crazy to think that was 7 almost 8 months ago. I feel as if someone has hit the fast forward button and I cant slow things down. Noah has changed so much and I try and take daily pictures of him because before I know it hes already an inch taller or doing something new. Noah can now sit up without any help, go from sitting up into the crawling position, and is on his way to crawling any day now. He has the army crawl down to a T. Hes starting to crawl backward and does okay with that, now here's to hoping he gets going forward. I have to say when people ask me is it exciting that he almost crawling my answer is "no." You see that's just one step closer to my little man getting bigger and for now I'm just enjoying him being "a little man." Its hard to watch your child grow up but its wonderful and exciting to see all there accomplishments at the same time!

I know this post is about Noah but I had to post these because I love this man so much and I'm so grateful for everything he has done for Noah and I!

He loves to play hes always playing...

When hes not up on all fours he plays with toys like this.

How do you resist this cute face?....You don't!!

I think its funny when he sleeps like this!

Hes learning how to use a sippy!!

After playing in the pool in the backyard! He looked so cute so I had to get a pic!!

Air show and a fun weekend

This last weekend was a blast!! Matt got Friday off so for us it was a 3 day weekend! We started it out by sleeping in on Friday and then going out and shopping for a few things. Before we headed out to go shopping Matt and I decided it would be such a blast to get all "dressed" up! This included Noah too!! So we put some gel in his hair and put it into a fun fohawk! We actually ended up trimming a tiny bit of his hair. By tiny I'm mean like 2 or 3 wisps of hair. I refuse to give him a "big boy" hair cut until hes one. He doesn't have a ton of hair anyways. On Saturday we decided to wake up early and have breakfast at IHOP and go to the air show. Noah had pancakes for the first time! He loved them! Matt was in heaven, we rarely go out to eat and for breakfast to top it off! After that we went to the air show and enjoyed watching the F-16 do some fun tricks. He flew supper low and fast. It was so loud so we had to cover up Noah's ears. We also saw a plane from Missoula Montana!! It was here to help fight the fires that have been going on close to here. All in all it was a wonderful weekend. Matt has been so busy with work and so it seems like we never see him during the week anymore so it was a nice weekend as a family!! I hope you all had a great weekend!!

Noahs 1st Easter

This was Noah's first Easter and it was a blast! We started things off by going to an Easter hunt Matt's squadron put on. I went with a friend of mine because her husband was gone on a TDY and mine was working weekend duty. We had a blast eating goodies and having her son and Noah "hunt" for Easter eggs! Her son is the same age as Noah and it was so fun watching them play together! The following weekend was Easter weekend and we had a blast. We didn't do anything special but it was still a blast. It was great to just hang out as a family and spend time remember the Savior. It was fun to teach Noah about Jesus even though he probably does not understand just yet. I'm grateful for the knowledge of my Savior and being able to teach Noah about the Gospel. I'm grateful for a husband who provides for our family and his knowledge of the Gospel! I'm happy that even though I didn't grow up knowing much about the Jesus and God that I now know them personally. I'm grateful to be a daughter of God and for the ability to teach my children about the Gospel. We love all you very much and hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!!

Noah on Easter Sunday. I think he looks so handsome

7 months old

My sweet angel is 7 months old!!! What the heck?!! 7 months!!! Were has the time gone?!!! My sweet boy has grown and changed so much. At his 6 month check up he was 27 1/2 inches long and 18lbs. He was in the 75% for everything. My little bean of 7lbs is a chunk and growing way to fast! Life before was amazing but life now with Noah is indescribable! Being a mom changes your world for the better! I'm so thankful to my Heavenly Father for letting me be a mom to this sweet little boy. I'm excited to watch him continue to grow but i just wish it would slow down!! I love you Noah and I'm so happy you are apart of my life!
7 Month old photo!!

We had to lower his crib as you can see why.......

I cant get enough of this sweet boy!!

Hes cheesing it up!! (and mommy falls for it every time)

Swim time!!!

I bought Noah a swimming pool because the weather here is already in the 90's and its only April!! I found this cute little swimming pool and he loves it! It was fun to watch him splash around and explore the world of "swimming." I cant wait to take him to the base pool and really get him in the water. He really loves bath time so I'm sure he will love the pool. I cant believe my little man is almost 7 months old! I feel like I just brought him home from the hospital and now hes almost crawling and has his own little personality!!! Time goes by way to fast. I just want to pause time so I can keep him this way a little longer. Every morning I wake up he is already learned something new.
I love his cute little belly!!

I have to say little boys in swim trunks are the cutest!!

Zoo day

We invited a lot of our friends to go to the zoo to see the animals and have a picnic! It was such a blast! I love getting together with friends it makes the pain of not being home with family a lot easier to handle! I'm sorry I didn't get more pictures we were to busy laughing and talking to get a lot of pictures. We did get a few of Noah feeding the giraffes he loved it! He would giggle as the giraffe stuck out his big long tong! Noah is such a sweet blessing!! I know I say that a lot but those of you who have children you know what im talking about;)
