Happy 3rd of July weekend?!

What a fun 5 day weekend Matt and I had!! I say 5 day weekend because he got off of work Thur's morning and we started it out by going out to lunch at Olive Garden and then going to see the new Eclipse movie. It was a good movie packed with action! The night before we did eat out at chilli's to celebrate Matt passing his final test to get his 5 level at work! He was bummed he didn't do as well as he hoped for but with all the higher ups congratulating him he soon realized he did a great job! I'm so proud of him and all the hard work he has done! He works so hard and never complains. Then on sat we celebrated the 4Th of July on the 3rd but it was soo much fun and worth it! Matt and I headed over to Tye to watch the fireworks and eat some delicious food!! I was soo soo excited to get some kettle corn and funnel cake but sadly none of the 8 vendors that were there had any!! I was so sad!! How can you not have funnel cake or kettle corn at a 4th of July celebration?!! People say its a small town and there were only 8 vendors but Bozeman Montana is small and they usually have a billion vendors who sale funnel cake!! However we did get to eat some yummy roasted corn on the cob and a HUGE turkey leg!! We listened to some music and decided to head back to the car before it started to rain again! Bindy was the highlight of the evening, every 5 seconds we were stoped by kids and adults to pet her and tell her how adorable she was!! She enjoyed watching the fireworks and loved all the attention.

I love this picture it reminds me of a face and for some reason thought it was soo funny!

I just love fireworks!!

It has defiantly been a fun weekend and I enjoy spending time with Matt! I cant wait till our trip to Montana at the end of this month! I'm so excited to see friends and family!! Until then we love and miss you all!!

Oh baby!!

It has been so much fun getting things ready for our little man! Thanks to my grandma she bought us our baby crib!! Matt and I had a blast setting it up! There is something about the baby crib that makes it official! Its fun to walk into his room and see this beautiful crib that he will use soon! Its fun to wash all his little clothes and set them up! Its been a fun journey with lots of firsts! I cant wait to head up to Montana at the end of July and see my family!! I cant wait to show them all the ultrasound pics and for my mom to see my pregnant belly!! It should be lots of fun!! For now we are keeping plenty busy and just waiting for this little man to join the family!!
The beautiful crib!!

Sorry these are backwards I really don't feel like trying to put them in order!!

I went to this thing called bundle's for babies that the air force base hear has and at the end they gave me crib sheets, 5 white onesies, 3 cute sleepers, 3 burp cloths, a cute bath towel, wash cloth, bibs, cute little booties, a little hat, and a few other things!! It was so much fun and great advice especially if your a first time mom!!

I was so proud of myself I finally figured out how to make a cute baby sling and made Matt model it for me!! I have also made some receiving blankets and nursing covers!

OOOHHH What a weekend!!! This Memorial weekend was needed for about 2 and a half weeks!! Matt has had a huge inspection and has been working "12" hour shifts. He really has been working 14-16 hour shifts!! It was so nice to see my husband and spend some quality time with him!! We had a ton of fun just shopping hanging out by the pool and hanging out in the house! We also had family pictures and I cant wait to see how they turned out and get them back. After family pictures Matt and I decided we wanted to take pictures of one another for fun. I thought the ones we took turned out really cute!! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend:)

20 weeks!!

It has been so much fun to watch my baby boy grow!! He is so handsome in all of his ultra sound pics and already has his daddy's features!! It has been a fun and eventful journey with this little man!! I do love being pregnant when I'm not sick, dehydrated beyond belief, falling up stairs, or dealing with a cyst! I have to admit it is definitely an experience having a little person inside you. I love that Matt can now feel him kick and move all around in my tummy. I am so addicted to feeling him move and when he is still for a moment or two I admit I shake my belly to feel him kick! He is now getting so big and is a whopping 13 oz. He loves to stretch out in my tummy and kick with both heals right in the sensitive areas! I am so excited to meet my little man in hopefully less then 20 weeks!! I sure love him so much already and cant imagine what its going to be like to hold him and kiss those sweet little feet!!

I love looking down and seeing my belly!! 18 weeks pregnant

FUN DAY!!

Matt has been working like crazy latly because of this big ORI they are having!! Its bascially a training inspection they do to practice for a chemical strike. So he has been almost living at work! They have worked 12 hour shifts including the weekends:( Well the other day matt only worked a half day and so we decided we were going on a date to the zoo because we missed the free zoo day due to nasty thunder!! We had a blast though!! We were like two 5 year old kids!!

Matt was trying to feed the birds!!

Look at these fish!! There were like a million of them!!

This lion in the back was so funny, everytime there was no one standing and looking at him he did his mighty lion RROOOAAARRR

I have to say the giraffes were by far my favorite!! They are so cute and have the best eyelashes

Look at that big black toung!!

I have never seen a buffalo (or bison to be correct) in captive like that!! When you live in Montana you can see them everywear!! Can you believe they even had praire dogs!!

Me and my honey hanging out!! We loved the zoo so much we bought a year pass:)

Matt so excited for dinner!!

Yep its true he gets that excited for Sonic!!

Family fun!!

Matt and I have been so busy these past few months with traveling to Missouri and other things going on around base. We went to Missouri in march and had a very fun time! We got to play with cows, see Rachel and Jackson's family, visit Katie and the kiddos, and see Issac before he left for college!

When we returned from Missouri Matt got called as a team leader for a we care team project. It is a service project team that the Air Force has developed. This has been a fun yet exhausting project. It seems to be never ending!! Hopefully soon it will be over and he will have his Saturdays back! It has been fun to see the changes he has made on this lady's home and helping someone out who is not a fortunate as others! As for me I have been called as second councilor in young women's and over the beehives! Its been fun to get to know the young lady's of the ward and we constantly have things going on with them! I have also been asked to be a key spouse over Matt's squadron! This is a big privilege! I help other women in the squadron with anything and everything. I also help plan events such as Christmas party's, welcoming home airmen from deployments, and a long long long list of other things!! I really enjoy it a lot! Its been fun to get to know Matt's first shirt and squadron commander! They are both very nice men! It has also been very enjoyable getting to know other spouses. I love being a key spouse because I get a lot of information about the squadron that somehow doesn't make it home all the time!! (Guys don't really pay attention to wife stuff a lot)
We also had a air show this past weekend and it was such a blast! The weather was amazing and the air show was a ton of fun!! Friday evening they had a big BBQ for military only and we got to watch parachuters come in off of a C-130 and land right in front of everyone! Then on saturday we went to the air show to watch the Thunder birds (or thunder chickens a lot of people call them) They also had a part of the air show called Tora, Tora, Tora. It was a reenactment of what had happened at pearl harbor. It was an amazing show and if you ever have the chance I recommend watching it!!

Last but not least as many of you already know Matt and I are having a little BOY!!! We are so very excited and can not wait to meet the little man!! We hope everyone is doing well and we cant wait to see everyone again! We miss you all so very much!

A visit with a 4star!!

Today was a "big" day!! Matt's squadron got their very first C-130 J model! With the arrival of the new plain came The Chief of staff of the Air Force!! It was a big honer to meet him and he was as sweet as can be!! It was fun to be apart of this neat experience!! After all the speeches and watching the new plain come in we got to talk with the General one on one!! He was so sweet and told Matt that this was a team effort and that no matter your rank we couldn't serve our country without each other!! He also thanked me for allowing my husband to serve and thanked me for my support!
